Tax havens are hell. Outraged by the discovery of the impact of these economic practices on our daily lives, Alix Dufresne and Marc Béland rebel by creating a virulent and playful dance work.

On 9 February 2015, on Ici Radio-Canada, Quebec philosopher Alain Deneault clearly explained the concrete consequences of tax evasion on our societies – both nationally and internationally. At the other end, Alix Dufresne and Marc Béland were choking. She’s a director and a performer and focuses on the misuse of ‘non-theatrical’ objects. He’s an actor, dancer and director. Concerned citizens and indignant creators, they appropriated this recording, abusing it to the point of absurdity in order to open up the public’s imagination to this “great scam that is the legalised swindle of tax havens”, a process that affects our very intimacy.
