Ouinch Ouinch invites you to plunge into an intense carnival epic that makes a mockery of despair. Featured in the official selection of the Swiss Dance Days 2022.

Explosion guaranteed! Happy Hype is a call to release energy and to ‘live more’, an injunction to throw one’s desires into the arena and to bite into the emerging euphoria. Inspired by the Hype Call, a key principle of krump (a form of dance that appeared in LA in the 1990s where dancers are encouraged to enter into a trance), the creation of the Geneva-based company takes the frenzy to a new level. Dancers enter a circle, inviting those around them to support them, and launch into a powerful, jubilant, infinitely expressive dance, coming from the depths of the entrails, with much screaming and hollering. It’s up to the audience to choose how to take part in this radiant parade: by shouting themselves hoarse or, why not, by joining in the arena!
